I lay there for a couple of seconds, and then I saw the boy, Potter, crawl out of a tunnel in the wall. He came over and tried to stop me from bleeding. I then gave him all of the memories that he needed and he put them in the vials that the Granger girl had given him. My last words were, “Look…at…me…” and I died.
I opened my eyes and I was in a large room full of ghost-like people. The only person who seemed solid was an old man with extremely long white hair, a crooked nose and half-moon spectacles. “Welcome Severus,” Dumbledore said. “Where am I?” I asked. “It’s called many things,” he replied. “Heaven, Hell, the Underworld, Pigfarts, or the Place Between Time.” “So, is everyone who ever died here?” I asked hopefully. He smiled at me sadly, “You won’t find her Severus. You could look for all eternity and you will not find her. The only way is if she chooses to appear to you. You might catch glimpses but never she her fully. Now I must go talk with young Harry and help him on his way.” Dumbledore then walked off and I looked down and saw, to my amazement, that I could see the world beneath me, so I satisfied myself with watching the world happen for the rest of eternity.
By the way, I see Lily. I talked to her and apologized for everything. James Potter, Sirius Black, and I are now good friends. I guess that everything worked out in the end.
